Throw Another Blog On The Fire: 3-0 in the Pacific Northwest

3 and 0 in the Pacific Northwest, time to reflect and throw Another Blog on the Fire.

Seattle is really cool.

Portland is really hip.

Really hip.

Although we did see the sun, it sill rained every single day.

Former University of Washington student and current RedHotBuff Ben Johns showed us around Seattle.

Did you know he was the Talon lacrosse player of the week?

We ate at the famous Aladdin's Gyro shop, then got burger hut, and then got milkshakes.

Middies eat a lot.

And yes, we saw the space needle, among other things.

Other things include: Burnside skate park in Portland, Voodoo doughnuts, U Dub stadium (which is gigantic), and the Sound.
Ivar's

We ate at Ivar's on our first night in Seattle.

They make an unbelievable clam chowder.

The Pacific NW video will feature skating from Thomas Appel, and pictures of the clam chowder.

The flight attendants on our flight made Matt White a crown for his birthday.

Darren Hulick did not get one.

Is he upset? Maybe.

The Denver International Airport is very patriotic.

DIA is also the topic of many conspiracy theories.

Goalie Brad Macnee loves conspiracy theories.

Here's what he's read about DIA:

At the time DIA was built, there was already an existing airport with more runways and the same technology.

The budget went from 1.7 billion to 4.8 billion dollars over the course of the construction.

There are 5300 miles of fiber optic cable, that's longer than the U.S.

The roof of the main terminal is made of Teflon coated fiberglass, which is invisible to infrared and radar.

There are also stories of underground secret bunkers, masonic temples, and even extermination chambers.

Our hotel in Portland was actually on Hayden Island.

We have a Hayden on our team. He was stoked about the island.

Some of us jumped in the Columbia river.

It was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Supposedly...

Signed,

Your RedHotBuffs
