Jet Lag: The Jet Has Landed

Ladies and Gentlemen, Buffalbros, and Lax Rats. Parents, Family, Friends, and anyone else who is as stoked as I am about the 2010 season, welcome. Welcome to a new, refreshed, revamped, re-darn-diculous Buff squad that is looking forward to the opportunity to make a statement. We work hard, we run fast, we bench press, and more importantly we are extremely thrilled to be on the field again, laxin', even if it is covered in freshy Pow Pow.

My name is Benny The Jet. I will be writing to you good folks from time to time. Sometimes about lax, sometimes about life, and other times about whatever is flowing through my beautiful brain that I feel would also benefit you. Some people say I'm the Socrates of our modern era, others think I'm a dingbat. I'll leave the judgment up to you. You will get to know me in time, but by the end of this you should end up grasping random wisdom and knowledge that could come in handy someday. I will also be updating you on any developing stories that may take place on the lax team. Some may be true, some may be embellished. Like the time Tyler Padzik met Ricky Martin, prior to the Earth-shattering release of "Livin La Vida Loca," on a cruise and spent the whole day deep-sea fishing with him (true). Wow! Tyler, thats great. It's a great story, I'll have to tell you about it later. Sometimes, I'll leave things open-ended, real mind-benders, awaiting your thoughts and reactions. For now I'll leave you with fun facts, which you should share at least once this week. Thanks, and welcome to Jet Lag.

If you are right handed, you will tend to chew your food on your right side. If you are left handed, you will tend to chew your food on your left side.

The roar that we hear when we place a seashell next to our ear is not the ocean, but rather the sound of blood surging through the veins in the ear.

Dalmatians are born without spots.

Bats always turn left when exiting a cave.

It cost 7 million dollars to build the Titanic and 200 million to make a film about it.

The plastic things on the end of shoelaces are called aglets.

If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle; if the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle
