BUFFALO GEAR TALK: RETRO VS CSU

We came out with some serious retro swagger for the CSU game at Invesco on saturday. Click after the jump to read more.

Back in the eighties our football team had about five years where our colors were baby blue and gold. While they may not have been known for their stellar record…we still wanted to wear some baby blue…and go retro this season.

But, seeing that we pay for our gear, another set of jerseys was out of the question. To remedy this we started planning back in July and came up with this new look.
Would have been nice to look this good and get a W…maybe we’ll get another chance at it. Check out more photos by clicking HERE.

  1. Shaw: Looks great, very well executed. We should turn this into, "How to look good and represent some vintage gear on a budget".

  3. Will Patton: Very very cool stuff! The baby blue is really just a great color for athletic gear in general in my opinion, the connection with CU history just makes it that much cooler!

  4. Ewendt: As a CU Alumnus and former lacrosse player at CU during the "Baby Blues" era, I can understand the intent, but hate the look. My jerseys are buried in a bag in my basement

  5. RHBstaff: Understandable...the football team went 10-44 during the four years they wore baby blue...as for those jerseys buried in your basement..are they your old lacrosse jerseys? If so we'd love to see a pic of those sent to redhotbuffs@lacrosseallstars.com

  7. brah5: First of all "...is comprised of," is grammatically incorrect. You should have said "...is composed of," or "...comprises," I am sure you learned this around 2nd grade, when I did. Also, that blue looks imbecilic and predictable. Boom roasted.
